The internet is a tremendous resource for the inquiring pet owner, but it is important to utilize sites that have accurate, up-to-date information. I have reviewed these sites, but have not read them in their entirety. If you have questions about a topic you find, or something seems out of line, please contact me. Likewise, if you find a super-cool site that you think other pet owners would enjoy, let me know and we’ll add it to the list!!

Here are some pet health sites to surf:

www.apcc.aspca.org — National Animal Poison Control Center. Founded in 1978, the NAPCC has veterinarians on duty 24/7 to provide the latest information about poisons, drugs, and antidotes in the event of an accidental poisoning. You can order a free refrigerator magnet on-line so you have their number handy when you need it.
